RECEBA - Regional Circular Economy Business Acceleration

To accelerate the circular transition in Europe, RECEBA faces the critical gap between strategic ambition and operational reality, where SMEs are hampered by the implementation of profitable circular business models due to a lack of practical skills, deployment experience and access to integrated support. In response, this project is building a transnational Center for Professional Excellence (CoVE) in Italy, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, France and Bulgaria. RECEBA integrates VET with regional S3/S4 strategies to create a demand-driven and sustainable skills flow.

The project combines skills needs research with strategic management – Regional Panels for Professional Excellence and Practical Implementation through Circular Business Labs, which will be established in the 6 countries – universal centers for skill development and circular acceleration in the industry. RECEBA combines diverse approaches and is ambitious to increase impact at pan-European level by connecting with key networks and initiatives.

10 modular training programs and an accompanying micro-credential system for skills recognition created, spanning EQF levels 5 to 8.
