Cleantech Bulgaria is partnering in the project Danube Energy+

Cleantech Bulgaria is the communication manager of the Danube Energy + project, which is implemented under the Danube Transnational Cooperation Program 2014-2020. The project was launched on 01.08.2018 and will be implemented for 36 months, in partnership with 9 organizations from 9 countries in the Danube Region, and 7 associated partners. Leading partner is InnoEnergy, Germany.

The project is aimed at young entrepreneurs and representatives of the innovation ecosystem – business, public authorities, universities. Its main objective is to provide a supportive environment, which will help young entrepreneurs to provoke change in sustainable energy through the creation of innovative start-up companies. The project envisions the development and testing of a pre-acceleration program for young entrepreneurs with innovative ideas in the field of energy efficiency and a training program for key players in regional innovation ecosystems (public administration, universities, business, SMEs). 10 young innovators will have the opportunity to undergo a 4-week training on the pre-acceleration program, under which they will develop their business ideas in the field of energy efficiency. The project will also create a Danube Energy + regional hub, which will help young innovators in the realization of their ideas after the end of the project. The total budget of the project is 1 864 354 EUR.
