The BOOST project contributes to improving research and innovation capacity in widening countries by promoting cooperation between academia and business. The main activity of the project is to provide business skills training to 60 professionals from the academic sector in five widening countries: Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, Cyprus, and Portugal. Within the BOOST project, an online platform will be developed for the exchange of information and opportunities for skills development between academic and non-academic participants.
Project activities include
Identifying the needs of human resources engaged in research and innovation activities in widening countries.
Development of a training program for developing business and entrepreneurial skills for professionals in the academic sector.
A 12-month exchange and training program focused on fostering business and entrepreneurial skills for 60 professionals from the academic sector in Bulgaria, Romania, Greece, Cyprus, and Portugal.
Development of an online platform for networking between academia and business, sharing initiatives for research and innovation, opportunities for skills improvement, and knowledge exchange.
Establishing a community for scientific research and innovation activities and creating a business model for exploiting the results of the project.
