This initiative, co-funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme, aims to build on the progress made in the first phase of the Construction Blueprint by promoting training and qualifications in the construction sector to address the challenges of the digital and green transitions across Europe.
The team of Cleantech Bulgaria participated in the meeting together with representatives of the other 19 partners from 10 European countries (Belgium, Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Romania, Slovenia and Spain), as well as representatives of the European Commission: Mr. Roman Horvath, Policy Officer at the Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs, and Mr. Paolo Zancanella, Project Manager at The European Education and Culture Executive Agency.
During the meeting, the main directions of work on the project were defined. During the upcoming four years, the initiative will focus on improving the skills of workers in the construction sector, promoting new training methodologies and cooperation between enterprises and training centers in accordance with the principles of the Pact for Skills in Construction.
