Circular Learning Hub (CL-Hub): A Learning Hub for the Engagement and Ecosystem Transition towards Circular Thinking is an educational project funded by EIT Climate-KIC in the period July 2019 – December 2020 that aims at supporting the transition towards low-carbon economy among entrepreneurs and investors. The project is implemented by a consortium with an extensive expertise in innovation and sustainable development in three European countries – Italy (Universita Politecnica delle Marche, ENEA, AESS), Greece (Athena Research and Innovation Center in Information, Communication and Knowledge Technologies) and Bulgaria (Cleantech Bulgaria).

The activities are divided into two implementation phases: experimental and educational. During the experimental phase, a set of questionnaires for assessing the awareness on climate change and risk behavior are applied. Additionally, VR videos showing the impact of global warming on natural and urban landscapes will be used for the first time in such type of research with the aim to provoke shift in the perceptions of respondents. In the educational phase, workshops will be organized with business representatives for introducing them to diverse tools for circular solutions with practical application.

In the capacity of local implementation partner, the Cleantech Bulgaria team participates in the joint preparation of the experimental and educational phases in 2019 and the beginning of 2020. The team is responsible for the implementation of both phases with local stakeholders in late 2020.
