For the second year in a row, you can go up Vitosha mountain using an electric bike!

On the 18.07.19 was the official opening of the second season of the shared system for electric bicycles, located at the National Museum of History. The initiative was opened by the mayor of Sofia city Yordanka Fandakova. According to Fandakova, “This is another step towards cleaner air in the capital”.

The initiative is organized for the second consecutive year by Cleantech Bulgaria, Green Sofia – Sofia Municipality with the support of EIT Climate-KIC – the largest public-private partnership in the EU. The innovative e-bikes is developed by the start-up company Eljoy Bikes, which went through the Accelerator program of Cleantech Bulgaria and EIT Climate-KIC. A general partner of the initiative is Lidl Bulgaria.

The service will be available until the end of October, or until the meteorological conditions allow it.
